History: Raced for a few years in my late teens but never really got into it too much, my parents didn’t have a lot of money to get me into racing so I just raced around my farm in dubbo. I moved to Newcastle and surfed for about 6-7 years. I busted my ear drum surfing and had to be out of the water for 18 months, I started to go a bit crazy so decided to get back into moto x. and the rest is history.
Profile: Luke Cole is one of the most naturally gifted freestyle moto-x riders riding in Australia. He makes the most technical moves look smooth and easy. A Freeride extremist from Newcastle Australia, Luke Cole has impacted the Moto X scene taking a fearless attitude and great adaptability to the arena every time he competes. His love for big tricks and ability to learn new moves quickly makes him a threat to take over any contest he enters.
Besides riding moto-x, Luke enjoys, surfing, listening to his magical tunes and spending time with his beautiful Wife Nicola. With his long list of career highlights including the: Cover of Freerider MX magazine, 2nd place in the Big Air and 4th overall at the FMX National’s Invitational, and final three at the Freestyle Big Air Challenge in Bangkok, it is pretty obvious that he is going to keep on impressing the judges and the crowds . Luke is an extremely focused and an inspiring individual and considering the large amount of natural talent he possesses, I'm sure he will easily make all his dreams come true.
